nice company

We had this past week. Grandpa and Grandma Harton came to visit and Uncle Yves and Ant Claire came along, We had not seen them for over 5 years. What fun we had. They got to meet our kids for the first time.

The children had a great time since they had all the attention they wanted, special treats, many stories, a few trips to the ice cream place, the a few times at the beach, and they have been clothed for next summer!

We just had a good time !

Our little Olivia is already two years old! What a big girl she is getting to be. Always a cheerful smile, sweet words, bright eyes and a soft cuddle to share.

I decided to make the whole day special. I started by some pictures as she woke up and lucky her she even looks pretty coming out of bed! Then as we got ready for the day and later on as she had a treat after lunch. Then later opening presents and a few of the celebrations!We had a Birthday celebration on the Friday evening with a few friends.

The Theme was Hello Kitty, requested by Olivia herself over 2 months ago. She just loves cats and Hello Kitty.

Her favorite part was when we sang Happy Birthday to her, she ask for us to sing another time.

They are ready!

The Blueberry season is here and boy are we happy. Everyday for the past 6 weeks the kids have been asking me if the blueberries where ready and this past Friday as we drove by the field I was able to say yes they are ready and better than that wee are going to pick some. I had two happy kids in the back that where eager to get out of their seat and run in the rows of the blueberry field. We picked 8 lbs on our first visits. And I know that there will be many more ponds to be picked. The people at the farm know me by my name that's because I usually go 2 or 3 times a week! Yes we love those blueberries. I have to say that those eight pounds have been gone since Sunday morning and we can't wait to go back tomorrow.

why why why?

This is the phase that we are going through right now. Not always easy. He is simply questioning everything, why and why and why of the why of the why! It makes us think and work hard as to remember how things work, are or there reason to be. And what a patience we need since he does not when to stop even if I give up. Julien will then say well mommy you just have to ask daddy or go see on the computer! This morning I was reading some literature about 3 and 4 yrs old and they where saying that this is a good phase that it shows curiosity which is a good trait to have and intelligence. I guess I better bring my encyclopedia a long wherever I go from now.
