They are ready!

The Blueberry season is here and boy are we happy. Everyday for the past 6 weeks the kids have been asking me if the blueberries where ready and this past Friday as we drove by the field I was able to say yes they are ready and better than that wee are going to pick some. I had two happy kids in the back that where eager to get out of their seat and run in the rows of the blueberry field. We picked 8 lbs on our first visits. And I know that there will be many more ponds to be picked. The people at the farm know me by my name that's because I usually go 2 or 3 times a week! Yes we love those blueberries. I have to say that those eight pounds have been gone since Sunday morning and we can't wait to go back tomorrow.

why why why?

This is the phase that we are going through right now. Not always easy. He is simply questioning everything, why and why and why of the why of the why! It makes us think and work hard as to remember how things work, are or there reason to be. And what a patience we need since he does not when to stop even if I give up. Julien will then say well mommy you just have to ask daddy or go see on the computer! This morning I was reading some literature about 3 and 4 yrs old and they where saying that this is a good phase that it shows curiosity which is a good trait to have and intelligence. I guess I better bring my encyclopedia a long wherever I go from now.

what we did last night

It was a nice cool evening and we took advantage of it by going to the Holland State Park. What a great time to take a few pictures while there. So here what a few of them look like. I think I am developing a passion for picture taking. A class and a little bit more equipment wouldn't hurt either!
