my first bump picture!

So here it is. My bump is growing now at 19 weeks I can't fit very well into my favorite jeans. For those who don't know we are expecting bb#3.

This seems to be a very quiet baby so far. I can hardly feel any movement or flutter. Hope it stays like this! I will put some updated pictures has the bump grows.

I had a good time away from home, the kids and DH!

It was my first time leaving my family to do something only for myself overnight. I went with a few girlfriends in a local hotel where we rented a conference room and a few rooms to stay 2 days and one night. It was all scrapbboking for 28 hours or just about and a little sleep and eating of course. So here is what I got to finish and I have 2 other pages that did not get done ther so I will get that here later.

I sure hope to do that more in the futur and maybe make this a regular habit.

The kids did great and so did dad. They were all happy to see me back. What a great feeling.

fishing story

This the story of a very happy boy and his first sea fishing experience in Florida. He had been saying for weeks that when we where going to be in Florida, that he would go fishing with his daddy.

We thought the night before that he might not go in the morning since he is such a grump when he wakes up. To our surprise he was just up ans ready to go in an instant. He was dressed in no time and did not play with his food one bit.

Here is 2 pictures of his first trip and first catch. He has all the pride he can have in his face. That little red snapper was his trophy.

The following day he kept asking when they would go back? 3 days later they returned for a second day of fishing. It was an afternoon trip, in the hot sun but what a catch this one was. Before his departure he told me that he would catch me a dolphin! I thought hummm that would be good for dinner.

When he got back from his trip he was all smiles but would not say if he caught something. Then I saw the catch they had from the afternoon, woahhhhh. When I saw that beautiful, golden, green and bluish fish I was so proud of him and he was just beaming with joy and bursting with pride. Then I said humm what a good dinner we'll had and we did.

Now that we are back he keeps talking about next year when we go back to Florida and how he is going to catch some more.

Cold but...

Beautiful it was this past Friday afternoon. We left our home around 4:45pm and it was a comfy 46 degrees and at the Holland State Park still the same but with the wind coming from the lake it felt much colder. Still we decided to venture out to the point and see the icebergs. We did not make it to the end of the boardwalk since it was to steep of snow and ice but we came close to it ans of course for safety reasons. It was very nice ti see so much snow, ice and sand pack 50 plus feet high. We got to see an iceberg fall in the water and make a big splash, unfortunately my camera was not on at the time although I was getting ready to shoot! We did not stay long for our hand quickly were getting cold but what fun it was.

need a minute

I feel that many areas of my life a few minutes to be caught up. This picture I think represents well what I am talking about. And this is only a picture of my ironing to do. But with the beautiful sunshine we have been having this week it has made things a little easier to enjoy. We even have gone outside work late afternoon walk to soak up the sunshine and try to take in some vitamin D. with spring only a few days away I can't help to think of better days. Anyway I got to go and get started on that ironing, so which shirt should I start with?
