cute pictures of my kids

These are just pictures taken on a random day. And they turned out pretty good I thought. I had no reasons or specific events why I was taking them. The clothes don't match.....

But I had a great time shooting and the kids enjoyed it as they where hugging, smiling, giggling. I just love those moments between the two of them.

They do not always get along good but still they cannot be apart of each other. they always end up playing together, coloring, singing, talking, and of course getting in trouble together. I always enjoy listening to the both of them talk and make up scenarios and stories of what they are doing together, whether they are playing on an imaginary boat, going down a path in the rain forest, or just plain making a pretend recipe!

Its just plain to cute.

It sure help to make up for the tougher days.

25 weeks

It's growing, its growing, and I can sure feel the rumbling inside of it. I think it was wishful thinking to have a quiet baby. This one will be my other two monkeys. Active, alive, and keeping me busy all the time.

I feel good most of the time and I am enjoying these moments as much as possible knowing this is my last time living them. I have about 15 more weeks to go before we meet this baby, so more growing ahead of me and a chance for you to keep updated on the progress.

Even if it is my most uncomfortable pregnancies I have to take moments and just enjoy them!

a special encounter

This afternoon we where privilege to meet with our little peanut of 24 weeks gestation.
Everything looked good and it seems very healthy. It did not lack vigor as it moved a lot and it was difficult to get a clear picture a times.
It always amazes me to see hoe perfect they are already and how we could already make a resemblance with the others. For example we can see a big similarity with Julien in the profile picture at the mouth level!!!
So we have more or less 16 weeks to wait to meet this little bundle and it will be at the same time that we will be able to tell you whether it is a boy or a girl that we will be holding in our arms.

A new style

Here a a few pages made this week. I am trying a new style call more free and artsy! Some call it freestyle. It is not those clean lines that I like all in order and neat. So this is totally out of my comfort zone. But I had a lot of fun trying this. I am not giving up my old habits but a jump in something new was good to get me going again and have m ore inspiration to keep on going. I took pictures I had laying around my craft room so they are some of my favorites that I had around just to look at and they inspired me for these pages!

2 pages

that I got done this week!

I broke a cycle of mine that is to work in chronological order with my photos. I am about 2 yrs behind and usually I use photos of Julien when he was 2-3 yrs old. these pictures are only 3 weeks old but they where extras that I had develop to give to the grandmas for mothers days. since they where sitting on my work table I thought I would give a try and work some recent photos. I felt uncomfortable at first but I like the results. I did the same for the page of Olivia only that those pictures are from this fall.

thanks for looking!

Class of 2008!

Here they are the Rose Park graduating class of Pre-K 2008!

It was a cute little ceremony we had on Tuesday morning at the Rose Park school gym. Julien was quiet through the whole deal and did not participate much. He was very happy to receive his certificate and to have his picture taken with his teacher Mrs. Zwart.

Its been a good year for Julien. He has learned a lot this year. All of his letters, numbers up to ten to write ans recognise them. Shapes, colors and may other things. but his favorite was the field trip they had in April to our local airport where they got to sit in an airplane, meet the mechanicians, and people that works there. He can now write him name very well.

Now its time to have fun this summer and enjoy the beach, swim class, Vacation Bible school, camping, family camp and visiting family members in Canada.

Kinderplaats

We had so much fun as a family. Us parents taking the pictures and watching the kids have a good time. The kids enjoyed running around participating at all the activities. We had a busy 4 hrs filled with fun, laughter, running. We took advantage of the tulips and shot pictures of the kids. It has been a tradition for us every year now. And make sure you check us back soon we will have pictures of them in their dutch costumes.
