35

is the numbers of candles that should of been on the cake! But I did not have enough... Daddy is doing pretty good with his 3 little ones. He is a good looking dad and his handling his role really well. He can manage this little bunch, quite under control! I have to say that I am very proud of him. So happy birthday Francois.

by a sunny morning

We where just hanging out in the family room, my three children and I. It's been a good week. Olivia has been adjusting to the changes of our family and Julien is being a good and very protective big brother both to his sister and little brother.

4 weeks

that this little man has been with us. It is hard to believe. We are enjoying him so much, and are trying to soak in the little things like holding him on a quiet afternoon. It is a busy time of our lives with 3 kids, work, and everything that goes with it. But to take time for those special moments is just the best.

life is hard when....

you are a 3 week old baby!
I was just gazing at my sweet little boy the other afternoon and caught him yawning. Thought about it and then realized how good life is for these little people. A little stretch, a whimper, a squirm and a yawn and then back to another little nap. I just love to see those little faces when they yawn.
We still have a very good baby that is so easy to please, loves to be held, and sweet most of the time except for when its time to change the diaper!
Xavier is growing good and strong, he is about to move out of his newborn clothes. Just to think he was swimming in it at the beginning.

Watermelon

This is one proud little boy.
This spring we had a story told by our pastor about him when he was a little boy and how he loved watermelon and he and his family grew them. After we got home from church Julien asked that we grow some. We where not sure since we do not have a huge yard, but we went to the market and bought one plant. We told Julien that if he wanted watermelon he had to be in charge of it and water it everyday.
We planted it in our flowerbed. Julien took that seriously and watered it almost every day. We had one watermelon grow from the plant and it was this past Friday October 3rd that he harvested it. It was the size of a grapefruit. Not very big but still pretty good for a 5 yrs old boy.

Julien was so kind that he decided to share it with all of us for dinner. I have to say that it was very sweet and juicy. He was so proud of it. we had to keep the seeds from it so that we can grow more next year!

I am in love

with this little guy, so much I can hardly believe he has been with us for now 10 days. He is a very good baby. Sleeps pretty good at night and is so easy going. I know it is bound to change has he grows up to be a little toddler and preschooler but for now I am soaking in every moments to remember how sweet these moments are.

Big Brother

Julien is such a big brother to his little Xavier. He is so proud of having him around. I have to say that was my biggest concern and it is now my last concern. Every day Julien comes around to kiss him, hug him and just to have a sweet talk with Xavier. I could not for better. He always says how much he loves him and how cute he is. Today he asked me to hold him. I just could not resist to take those pictures. I wanted to remember that moment of Julien bonding with his little brother. And every time we have someone come over or when we meet someone he will say "this is my little baby brother Xavier, I love him" It just doesn't get better than this.
