I am in love

with this little guy, so much I can hardly believe he has been with us for now 10 days. He is a very good baby. Sleeps pretty good at night and is so easy going. I know it is bound to change has he grows up to be a little toddler and preschooler but for now I am soaking in every moments to remember how sweet these moments are.

Big Brother

Julien is such a big brother to his little Xavier. He is so proud of having him around. I have to say that was my biggest concern and it is now my last concern. Every day Julien comes around to kiss him, hug him and just to have a sweet talk with Xavier. I could not for better. He always says how much he loves him and how cute he is. Today he asked me to hold him. I just could not resist to take those pictures. I wanted to remember that moment of Julien bonding with his little brother. And every time we have someone come over or when we meet someone he will say "this is my little baby brother Xavier, I love him" It just doesn't get better than this.

Xavier

Already 4 days old!

He is a sweet little baby, very quiet and sleeps a lot.

We took advantage wednesday afternoon to take a few pictures when he was awake for more than 15 minutes.

The first night at home was a little rough as he was up from 1-4 am but it will get better I am sure of that pretty soon.

We'll keep you posted with pictures and stories as he grows and changes through the next days, weeks, months and years!

What a blessing he is to our family.

It's a boy!

Francois Xavier was born on Saturday September 13, 2008 at 11:57. He weighed at 6lbs10oz, measures 20 inches.

He looks great and is healthy praise God for that precious little miracle he has given us.

So I ended up having a pretty long and paiful labor that lasted 20 hrs. I gave up 2 hrs before birth and took the epidural, I was totally exhauted and could not make it through contractions anymore. It was an awsome moment to be able to see him come out and see this little head full of dark hair, and then to see it is a boy, wow what a surprise. We did not what we where expecting and we where happy with both options. He is the perfect little guy for our family.

Julien and Olivia got to meet their little brother the following morning and are very please but think that he is to small!.

We will keep this updated as the week progress and I will add more pictures later since it is difficult to do it from the hospital.

Thanks for all you thoughts, prayers and good wishes, we truly feel bless to have such caring and loving people around us.

ouch!

I believe the first pains of labor have started early this morning around 3:45am. I am feeling them every 10-15 minutes and they have intensify since. So I guess we will be welcoming baby sometime today. This will be our second child born on a 13th.

I had forgotten how the contractions where painful and was wondering yesterday when will I know that it is true labor. I can assure you this morning it is true laborrrrrr

I can't wait to see its little face and finally find out if it is a boy or a girl.

We will keep you posted as we leave for the hospital and afterwards we will put some fresh pictures of baby.

5 yrs old Julien!

Already our little men is 5. It's amazing how time has gone by so fast. Julien has shown some signs of maturity at different level in the past weeks. Also some of it probably helped by the return to school and being in a big kid class.

For his birthday we went out to eat and he was treated with balloons, a song, and ice cream sundae. The next day we had a small celebration with a few friends, the theme of the birthday was Diego the explorer which he loves.
